So this last weekend, I went through my kids’ toys. Stuffed animals, dolls, matchbox cars, dinosaurs… The kids helped me decide what went. I basically judged things on whether they play with them often or not, if it was a duplicate, or if it was just junky and falling apart. We gave away three paper grocery bags’ worth to the Goodwill.
By the way, the author Gail Blanke counts each category of things as one item in the tally toward 50 things. So I guess “toys” only counts as one? That’s okay, I judged progress on whether our space was clearing up and it did.
My next step is working on my papers and old magazines. That will feel great!
